Cancer!!!

A word that still brings a shiver to my spine and scares me to my core....YET some people have no respect for anyone or anything...

Last night i received an email from a dear friend telling me that a person she had cared about for 2 years has been telling porkies.....she claimed she had cancer and had been receiving gifts e.t.c.from people .....that rotten so and so.....i don't wish bad things onto people so i am not going to....but i am ANGRY!!!! very very ANGRY....

Exam update:

Well we got our results about a week ago and i am happy to say that i passed all subjects....YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

I even managed to get a distinction for one and at University level this little black duck is very happy...LOL

Update

Well i have been busy doing things for Shan's Army....

binding a quilt....

preparing a few for binding.....

stitching quilt labels on a couple of donated quilts ...

one of the quilts for Jen's family is nearly ready too....( Jen was a very good friend of mine that lost her battle with BC in April this year..)

Trish and i made up bags yesterday for our afternoon tea next week....the Raffle quilt will be drawn then...

If you have any spare fabric-quilts-quilt tops-batting/wadding-threads or orphan blocks we would love to have them they will be put to good use.

If you want them used for a specific purpose please let me know and the quilts will be labelled to make sure that they go where you want them to go.

Thank you girls for stopping in. This is very confusing so far but no doubt i will get the hang of it eventually. Will post some more pics later and have a play around to see how all this works.LOL
This could be fun i think. Have to study more today as i am a University student and we have exams next week...oh boy now that's scary...

Above you will see another of the quilts that we have donated most are lap size so they can be used in wheelchairs or covering knees during treatment.Sometimes they are a bit bigger it depends on the volunteer really.

Yippee yes... it worked ....now if some kind person could tell me how to add a slideshow i would be really happy.This is one of the many quilts we have donated so far.In total we have donated 146 quilts. And we are working on quilts at the moment.
